We study fungal diseases in domestic animals, reptiles, and fish. Our work integrates clinical mycological diagnosis with research into the epidemiology, pathogenesis, and treatment of the main veterinary mycoses.
The group is led by Dr. Begoña Acosta Hernández and is part of the University Institute for Animal Health and Food Safety (IUSA) at ULPGC.
